One Big Family Outing

Posted by vibrations on 07-03-17

One Big Family was formed by two Embrace fans in Kent in 2015 to help the homeless. The idea was to give direct help to people on the streets by providing them with the sort of things we take for granted - food, clothing, bedding, toiletries. Saturday's fundraiser sees the opening of the Northern branch of the charity.

The line up is strong in this 'un - Emerald Sunday are taking the long trip South from Dundee to support the charity and will be opening with their own brand of raucous indie. Leeds up and comings Glass Mountain will be providing the backbone of the night with their epic and haunting melodies - delicate yet monumental as their name suggests. Finally, providing the coup de grace of the night,  are One Sided Horse, led by Evil Blizzard drummer and singer Mark Whiteside (sans mask) and Richard McNamara, Steve Firth, Mike Heaton and Mickey Dale from Embrace. All in all, a pretty interesting line up.

it should be a lively night, so if you want to get in ahead of the crowds, go to - it'll be a good 'un...
